(n.) Japanese "Wisdom in a natural simplicity" The discovery of beauty in imperfections; the acceptance of transience.

Born and raised in Japan, at the age of 18 after graduation from high school, Hiroko made her decision to continue her education in the US. She studied Interior Design at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn NY where she pursued her artistic talent & passion in Art. Years after relocating in Los Angeles, she chose to start a career as a makeup artist and hair stylist. Her artistic background and experience give her all ideas and techniques for applying makeup and styling hair. 

Her 'wabi-sabi' philosophy in makeup artistry make clinets apprecaite her less-in-more approach. With over 14 years in the industry professionally,  she keeps working toward her best work. Her work can be seen in major publications and medias. 

Hiroko is currently based in the SF Bay Area and Los Angeles, and is available to travel nation/worldwide upon request. She is licensed in Barbering in CA.
